This wall hanging is inspired by the Borneo rain forest. The background is pieced using a variety of green fabrics to give the impression of the rich colours of the forest. The trees and jungle plants are added to the design using machine appliqué. Thread couching, machine embroidery and decorative quilting finish off the piece and add further texture and depth
