This wall hanging is inspired by the Borneo rain forest. The background is created from a variety of green fabrics applied using fusing and raw edge appliqué. The foreground is made up of a large number of different coloured snippets of fabric stitched in place with variegated thread. Details were added using appliqué, thread painting and oil pastels.
