This design is inspired by a photograph I took of  frangipani flowers on a tree in our garden. The flowers are created from a

variety of batik fabrics and hand stitched using silk threads. The background ‘sky' is hand painted and commercial batiks are used for the border and binding. The wall hanging is finished with machine quilting using invisible thread.
