This design is inspired by traditional batik sarong fabrics. I used modern hand dyed Bali fabric for the flower and leaves which are hand appliquéd onto a pale  ecru leaf patterned background.The border is a dark blue, almost black batik fabric set off by a narrow accent border in dark red.
